Online Community launched
Looking for more ways to collaborate with fellow WCHQ members and strategic partners to share knowledge, expertise and like interests? How about easy access to the latest information, meeting materials and schedules regarding WCHQ workgroups and committees? Good news – the WCHQ Online Community has been launched and stands ready to meet these needs and many more!

Replacing the WCHQ Intranet, our password-protected Online Community is your go-to site. The Online Community is a virtual “town square” where you can easily and quickly access and share information among WCHQ members, strategic partners and staff about WCHQ initiatives and other important healthcare topics. As a member of the Online Community you can:

• Join pre-established workgroups and discussion forums or create your own group around a common interest
• View a calendar of upcoming events and meetings and download related materials
• Peruse the community-wide document library and the document libraries unique to your group(s)
• Update your personal profile including highlighting your contact information and adding your picture
• Search the Online Community for others with similar interests
• Post and respond to messages on the community-wide message board and group-specific message boards
• Navigate to the WCHQ public reporting and data submission web sites

“The old WCHQ Intranet was essentially a one-way street with the WCHQ staff posting information on the site for our members. While the Online Community is a place to find information, it is also a dynamic two-way street where our members, strategic partners, and staff can easily communicate and share information of mutual interest,” said Chris Queram, president and CEO of WCHQ. “Think of it as social networking coming to WCHQ,” added Queram.

As a WCHQ member or strategic partner, your profile has already been started. It will only take a few minutes to complete it and join us!

The site is intuitively designed and easy to use and navigate. If you have any questions about how to use the site, assistance is available through several options. E-mail or call the Online Community support team, access the illustrated first-time visitor guide or the FAQs section on the site, or attend one of the orientation webinars.
