WCHQ welcomes Judy Nowicki as Quality Improvement Specialist

The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) would like to introduce Judy Nowicki, RN, BSN, MPA as our new Quality Improvement Specialist.

Judy comes to us from Saint Joseph's Hospital - Ministry Health Care with over thirty years of nursing leadership experience and a proven track record of performance improvement achievements. Judy has served in many significant roles, including staff nursing on Medical Surgical and Intensive Care, management of a Heart Failure Center, a Cardiac Rehab Center, a 43-bed cardiac medical surgical unit and, most recently, as Director of Patient Care Services.

Judy has demonstrated accomplishments in quality improvement and project management, which include but are not limited to a $5 million bed project, system-wide policies for improvement in patient care, standardization projects for supplies and products, involvement in Magnet re-designation, and multiple projects related to transitions in services provided to patients.

Judy is trained in Lean Six Sigma and will work closely with our members and multiple other stakeholders, as WCHQ continues on the performance improvement journey.

We are excited to welcome Judy onto the WCHQ staff.
