The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) has developed a unique set of healthcare performance measures to evaluate key primary care practices.

WCHQ's healthcare performance measures distinguish themselves from those created by other organizations, because they assess the care received by all of a provider's patients regardless of who pays for the services. By upholding the principle, "All Patients; All Payers; Always," WCHQ builds provider confidence in performance measurement and supports quality improvement efforts.

WCHQ member organizations-which include Wisconsin health systems, medical groups and hospitals-play an important role in crafting and refining the WCHQ performance measures. Beyond collecting the data to report, they also collaborate with WCHQ staff and participate in a systematic validation process to ensure the accuracy of performance data reported on the WCHQ website.
