WCHQ welcomes Emil Treige as Quality Project Manager

The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) is happy to announce that Emil Treige has joined the staff as Quality Project Manager, a position funded through the Aligning Forces for Quality initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Emil comes to WCHQ with over 6 years of leadership, management, and software development experience to healthcare organizations. He earned a BS degree in Neurobiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005. He has also received several Epic certifications, including in the areas of EpicCare Inpatient and Hospital Oncology applications, EpicCare Ambulatory, Safety, Health Information, and Information Technology.

Emil has worked for Epic since 2006 as a project manager, technical services representative, and most recently as a technical coordinator supervising over 30 technical reps. His project management experience includes physician order management tools, customer workflow improvement, training curriculum design and implementation tailored to workflow improvement, go-live implementation of hospital inpatient and oncology applications, patient safety issue investigation, as well as systems design and change control utilizing customer feedback to improve patient and physician satisfaction for/during EMR implementation.

We are excited to welcome Emil onto the WCHQ team. His focus will be the colorectal cancer screening project and CG-CAHPs reporting.
