CABG Operative Mortality  

Operative mortality includes both:

  1. All deaths occurring during the hospitalization in which the operation was performed, even if after 30 days and
  2. Deaths occurring after discharge from the hospital, but within 30 days of the procedure.

All data is risk adjusted and presented as a ratio of observed over expected results. Results to the left of the vertical line are better than expected. Results to the right of the line are worse than expected.
