The WCHQ website is made possible with the generous support of WEA Trust
Publicly reporting healthcare quality measures is only one step. Making the information useful to consumers and widely accessible to everyone is equally important. The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality is grateful to the generous support of WEA Trust that makes this state-of-the-art, interactive Performance & Progress Report possible.
Via the Web, any individual is now able to access relevant, audited healthcare quality information at any time and create custom reports that compare specific healthcare providers on the measures of their choice.
WEA Trust is the second largest group-health insurer in Wisconsin and fully supports WCHQ in its goal of educating people about the value of measuring healthcare quality, publishing the comparative results and making the report widely available.
"When our members make educated choices in seeking healthcare, they have better outcomes and quality of life," says Al Jacobs, executive director of WEA Trust.
Headquartered in Madison, Wis., WEA Tust is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building financial security for Wisconsin's public school employees. A Board of Trustees, made up of public school employees, oversees the Trust operations and serves without financial compensation. As educators, they understand the needs of public school employees, and are able to use that knowledge to ensure that the Trust members get high quality and great value in insurance and financial services.
