NewsVisit from Health & Human Services Secretary Michael LeavittWCHQ has been given the privilege of hosting a visit from Secretary Michael Leavitt of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. One of Secretary Leavitt's objectives for the visit includes underscoring the Department's commitment to health information technology. A public meeting will be held at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison on the morning of Friday, February 1. The meeting will focus on electronic health records and include a demonstration of how these tools can be of great value to patients. A video crew will also be at the meeting and briefly interview people who have personal experience using electronic health records.
