Driving Meaningful Change:
The Year in Review

We believe our organization is most successful in “driving meaningful change” when we focus on our core value proposition revolving around performance measurement, public reporting and collaborative learning. We are honored to say our accomplishments in this area were recognized this year by another important healthcare stakeholder when WCHQ was named the recipient of the inaugural Driving Meaningful Change award presented by the southeastern Wisconsin employer purchasing organization, the Business Health Care Group (BHCG), at its annual meeting in September.

Says BHCG Executive Director Dianne Kiehl, “The tagline beneath the BHCG’s logo is Driving Meaningful Change. However, we realize that we cannot drive meaningful change alone. We need the active engagement of all healthcare stakeholders to be successful. The Collaborative’s efforts to collect and publicly report standardized provider performance data supports our organization’s commitment to work with providers to improve healthcare value and to educate consumers and assist them in making choices using reliable information.”

The BHCG award marks the considerable value the business community places on WCHQ’s decade of work and accomplishments. This important recognition is a highlight in a year that featured significant efforts to ensure our continued role as a force for change.
