Social Determinants of Health

Where we live, work, play, and pray, also known as our social determinants of health (SDOH), are important factors in our health outcomes. For example, the neighborhood we live in and proximity to fresh, in season fruits and vegetables at a market or grocery store can have significant influence on our health. Along with considerations for safety and traffic when we might want to go for a walk or go to the park with our kids. This section defines and explores SDOH and how to impact these factors for improved health outcomes.
