Dental Associates has joined the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ), an organization dedicated to helping health care professionals improve the quality and affordability of care through collaboration and public reporting. Dental Associates will be among the first dental practices in the nation to publicly report a set of metrics specifically designed for oral health.

WCHQ Assembly Focuses on Health Disparities

Wisconsin ranks high in overall health care performance; however, the state performs poorly on measures related to disparities. Wisconsin is lower than the US average on 22 of 27 Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) measures of disparity in care for Hispanic and Black people compared to White people.

Aspirus Receives WCHQ Top Quality Honors

The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality recognized Aspirus as a top performer at WCHQ’s annual Statewide Quality Improvement Event June 5 in Madison. Susan Schneider, MD, chief medical officer and Matt Brewer, vice president of operations and chief nursing officer, Aspirus Clinics, accepted the award presented by Gabrielle Rude, Ph.D., WCHQ director of practice transformation.
